LONG TERM COUNTY WIDE PLANNING TAKING PLACE
The Delaware County Planning Department had undertaken efforts to initiate new planning to develop options to contain and stabilize long-term costs for the treatment of wastewater flow originating from Eastern Delaware County. This includes not only the communities served by CDCA but Muckinipates Authority, Darby Creek Joint Authority, and the Radnor-Haverford-Marple Authority as well. The County is using the DELCORA website for their official posting of information. (www.delcora.org) exit this site

Recently, this planning effort has added an additional focus; private property I&I. This is referring to the extraordinary amount of rain and ground water that is leaking into our sewer system through building laterals. The 537 Planning document includes a proposed ordinance to require a point of sale inspection and repair of building laterals.
For more information on private property I&I, go to our Flow Information page.
